Last night, during Greta Van Susteren’s show “On The Record” on Fox News, California Rep. Maxine Waters and New York Rep. Charles Rangel were the subjects of debate. Greta was talking about the ethics scandals surrounding both Waters and Rangel when video of fired USDA worker Shirley Sherrod popped up. Ooops!

Recognizing the error, Greta immediately went to her blog and apologized big time for the mistake. Fox has a zero-tolerance policy for mistakes and factual errors. But, they usually refuse to apologize when they do make mistakes. This isn’t the first time the network has misidentified an African American subject by showing video of another black person. They’ve done it to President Obama and Harold Ford, Jr. too!
