Songbird Sade is hitting the road next year for her first world tour in a decade. She’s doing 50 arena shows and will start her US dates in Baltimore next June.

Don’t worry if you don’t see your city on the list just yet. She plans to announce more dates in cities like Atlanta, Detroit and Las Vegas soon.  The international dates have yet to be announced.

Check your local ticket joint for ticket prices. Some of the show dates go on sale October 16th.

So, who’s worthy of a Sade ticket… that might as well be on the “lobster” side of the menu.

TMZ is reporting that, cameltoey and controversial Sports Reporter, Ines Sainz has recieve a ‘formal offer’ to pose for Playboy- in a toe baring pictorial. Her employer, Azteca TV,  bars journalists from any nude action, but it wouldn’t surprise me if she quit that bitch and took Hef up on his offer, especially since she went in on the Association for Women In Sports Media, last week for lack of support.

Coming up with that title was too easy. Looks like John Travolta and his tired toupee are both about to be forced out of the closet kicking, screaming and clutching pearls! Word on the curb is that six men are ready to come forth and say they had sex with the Scientologist. That’s on top (pun intended) of the men who already claimed they had sex with the “Pulp Fiction” star. Those allegations are made in an upcoming book about the actor. Some of the acts reportedly occurred in Los Angeles steam rooms! Now, I don’t know if John John is that messy, but where there’s smoke there’s definitely fire! Will and Jada come get your peeps! One of the four men accusing Bishop Eddie Long of playing hide the sausage sexual coercion is speaking out.

Jamal Parris gave a compelling explanation of how, as a 14 year old, he came to join the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church where he met Long. Parris tells Atlanta’s FOX 5 news that he had no father in his life at the time and was wooed into a sexual relationship with the Bishop, whom he called “daddy.”

Hmmm, so Melissa Ford is PO’d at Essence Mag it seems. In a recent interview with Vibe Mag she went the fug off about Essence mag’s most recent issue that features Blair Underwood, Boris Kudjoe and Lance Gross on the cover (YUM!) and the cover story entitled ” What Makes Black Men Happy and Faithful“. Ms Ford went in saying:

“How dare you?! It makes me f*cking sick. [It’s like saying] ‘Women take note—how to keep your black men healthy and keep from straying from you ‘cause it’s your fault.’ And black women wrote this to their f*cking counterparts. As if to say, ‘If he strays, it’s your f*cking fault. You didn’t cook enough. You didn’t blow him enough. You didn’t f*ck him enough. You didn’t do enough to keep your f*cking man healthy or faithful.’ O-M-f*cking-G!”

Now I gotta agree with her here, colorful language and all. I absolutely loathe helpful magazine articles that suggest there’s something us women need to be doing or stop doing and that these actions on our part will control the peace in our love relationships. BULL!  Why are we always looking for exotic reasons as to why men cheat and stray. It’s because they want to! It’s not because you stopped spinning on his peen exorcist style, it’s not because you’re not thin enough ( there are women the size of whales in happy, loving relationships), it’s not because of anything YOU can change. This straying occurs because it’s a choice made by the individual and all these so called helpful articles infuriate me. We need to be this or do that, get the fug outta here!

The only thing we NEED to do is love ourselves first, when you do that you don’t need to read an article that offers strategies on how to keep a man, it’s absolutely ridiculous to think you can control a person with the right formula in place.  Seems quite odd that a magazine that is supposed to be meant to uplift women of color seems to instead do the exact opposite. These kinds of articles are not helpful or in the least bit useful, the suggestion that the bane of our existence rests in our ability to keep a man faithful is simply disgusting.

First of all, I don’t know when you snuck that extra “I” into your name. But I will NOT comply.  There is nothing I hate more than gratuitous use of the letter “I”.  You should have just gone full blown dip-shit with it, and put a little heart or a star over the “I”. Hell, now you can do both, I suppose. Either way, I want no parts of it. No parts, you hear!?

Now, let’s get to my concern. Sooo… blond eh? Not just highlights but damaging dry looking platinum. With black roots, huh? Oh yea? Who do you think you are? Faith circa ’92, Lil Kim circa ’92, Mary J. Circa well… the last decade plus? It wasn’t cute then and it’s not cute now. Seriously, Ames, your hair was beautiful. Maybe you were annoyed because no one ever mentioned it, because they were too busy salivating over your legs. I mean really is that your biggest effing problem? You’re hair felt left in the dust by your stellar gams?  What a whack move this was.  I get it, the quest for relevancy is a hard thing in the industry you’re in. I get it.

But unlike the rest of the R&B chickens, you have an education! From GEORGETOWN, nonetheless!  Do you think some of those broads can even spell GEORGETOWN?!  Seriously, dude you don’t have to go out like a sucker, like this!
