Former president Bill Clinton has been hospitalized in New York with chest pains. Details are sketchy at the moment, but the Reuters news service is reporting two sources close to the former prez say he has been hospitalized. You’ll recall Clinton does have a history of heart health issues, having had bypass surgery in 2004.

UPDATE: MSNBC reports Clinton has received a stent. A stent is small mesh tube that is used to treat narrowed or weakened arteries. A hospital source says Clinton called Columbia Presbyterian Hospital two days ago, saying he didn’t feel well. He was due to come to the hospital yesterday but postponed that appointment until today.
ABC News reports Clinton had 2 stents inserted in an artery, but that Clinton was feeling “discomfort.” They’re not calling it “chest pains.”
