Word on le curb is that former Brownstone songstress Nicci Gilbert will have plenty o’time to work on her Fat Avocado Curvato clothing line because she’s been axed from the cast of R&B Divas. The YBF got an exclusive tip that Gilbert (a co-creator of the show, by the way) got the boot because research of viewers showed that she just didn’t connect. 95% of viewers polled said Nicci was their least fave diva. There’s evidence of this if you go to the show’s website, where Gilbert’s profile has the most comments of any diva, many of them calling her judgmental and rude with a poor attitude and issues! No word yet from TV One or the producers about the firing but Gilbert all but confirmed it in her tweets.

Queen Mother Creole Warbler Beyonce Knowles has reportedly signed on to be the halftime talent at the Super Bowl. A “source” tells the Associated Press that Mrs. Carter will hit the stage in New Orleans on February 3, 2013. The official amazing announcement is expected tomorrow.

Kim Kardashian is reportedly “honored” to be Kanye Kardashian’s West’s perfect bitch. (Were you expecting anything else?) Ye tweeted Monday that his new song, “Perfect Bitch,” off the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music album, “Cruel Summer,” IS indeed about his boothang. The album doesn’t come out until September but Ye played the song in a New York club last week and it was reportedly well-received. Well, we now know (okay, TMZ knows but they know errythang) that Kim is receiving the song quite well too, telling friends “I love it. I know he doesn’t mean it in a negative way when he says the word ‘bitch.’” Kim says the song refers to how Kanye has been with other women but never found the “right one until he met me.” There are reportedly some references to Amber Rose in the track too.
Seems to me that if you have to explain the tone and context of what’s supposed to be a term of endearment, then you might want to re-think it. “Plastic soulmate,” “Ray J’s love muffin” or “questionably talented Armenian snookums” would have worked too, right?

Word on the gospel block is members of the late great gospel singer Mahalia Jackson’s family are pissed at Fantasia for A) getting knocked up by a married man and B) not telling producers of a new film about the baby. You see, Fantasia is set to star in an upcoming biopic about Jackson’s life, but now she’s got a bun in the oven that’s due in December. In the months before she announced her pregnancy, Fantasia claimed she was packing on weight in order to play Mahalia when in actuality, she was knocked right on up. The film’s producers say she didn’t tell them about the pregnancy until she was four months in (that doesn’t seem like a bad thing though… I mean, you have to be sure right?). The New York Post is reporting that Mahalia’s family feels Fantasia could “sully” the gospel star’s name by her off-screen actions.
Production of the film has been delayed due to the pregnancy and Missy Elliott’s name is even being mentioned as a replacement. Hee hee hee hee howww for Jesus? Ok then.

Word on the street is Usher’s latest boo is running his career. “Sources” say 43 year old Grace Miguel (a former executive at Def Jam) is Usher’s girlfriend, co-manager and stylist (wonder how Tameka feels about that?). Page Six (the original TMZ) is reporting that Miguel is urging Usher to fire his team, including stylists, choreographers and tour managers and replace them with people approved by her. Usher’s agent, Mark Cheatham, is reportedly the first to get the axe. He’s been with Usher since the start of his career and even manages Justin Bieber. Word is Cheatham is pissed about the firing though he’s not speaking publicly about it.
Usher (who’s 32, BTW), is no stranger to letting an older woman helm the ship. First, his mom was running the show. Then that went south for a minute while Usher’s former wife (who also started as his stylist), Tameka Foster, was in the mix, causing his career to veer off course for awhile. Now, the new girlfriend seems to be stepping into that role. Grant it, she does have industry experience but maybe this guy really needs to keep his peen far, far away from anyone running his business.

The fine folks over at all up in yo bidness TMZ are reporting that head beech and determiner of who’s in “The Circle” –Evelyn Lozada– wants OFF of Basketball Wives.
Sources close to the reality star tell us … Evelyn feels producers violated her trust by allegedly divulging sensitive information about an illicit relationship she had in the past.
We’re told Evelyn believes producers leaked the information to a female cast member in an effort to incite a violent confrontation between the two women on the show.
We’re told Evelyn feels completely betrayed and even fired off an email to producers last night … saying she wants to leave the show for good. (Witch Note: BTW, I really hope that email ended with “you are a non-m’fing factor, b*tch”)
So far, no official comment from Evelyn.
Uh, well duh… of course she wants out. She’s about to “marry” that Ocho fella and get her own show (watch!). I mean, why slum it out with an ensemble cast when you can be the HBIC on your own project with your Twitter boo? It’s not clear if said “illicit relationship” refers to the one she had with Kenny Anderson (which she revealed on the finale Sunday night)… or if there’s another “illicit relationship” we don’t know about (which, really, wouldn’t be that surprising either).

Less than a month after burying his wife, former Senator John Edwards is reportedly engaged to Rielle Hunter, the woman he knocked up during his marriage to Elizabeth.
The National Enquirer (I know, it’s the Enquirer, but follow along…) reports the couple will get married this summer. News of their rumored nuptials comes the same day word got out that Elizabeth nixed John from her will in the days before she died, leaving everything to her children.
Edwards’ people aren’t commenting on the story, but this IS the National Enquirer. They’ve had this guy by the bizzalls for years. They broke the story back in 2007 that he was dippin’ out on Elizabeth.

The word over at FreddyO is Maxwell has canceled the rest of his concerts because he wasn’t mixing well with Jill Scott and Erykah Badu. Apparently, Maxy got p-o’d when both Jilly and Silly E Badu went over on their set times. Maxwell’s shows after the New York stop on June 26th have been postponed or canceled (don’t believe me, do a little Ticketmaster sleuthing and try to buy a ticket for a July show…all you’ll get is “postponed”). Hmmmmm… Maxy. Me no likey.
