Brew Tube: Fake Booty Doc Strikes Again, Allegedly

1

Posted by Witch Hazel | Posted in Brew News, Brew Tube | Posted on 29-11-2011

Oneal Ron Morris, the transgender woman accused of injecting a mix of harmful chemicals into the rear ends of her “patients” has struck again (allegedly). A new victim has come forward claiming the Miami “doctor” seriously jacked up her face by injecting a mix of cement and tire sealant.

Rajee Narinesingh is also transgendered. She says she found out about Morris’ services via the transgendered circuit and -short on money- she thought it was a good deal.

Morris was arrested earlier this month on charges of practicing medicine without a license with serious bodily injury. Narinesingh said she took the risk and went to Morris because she wanted to make her outsides match how she felt on the inside. Damn. Haven’t we all felt that before in some way?

Brew Tube: The Roots Musically Slay Michele Bachmann

Minnesota congresswoman and Republican presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Monday and was “greeted” by a musical intro she probably hadn’t bargained for. Normally, The Roots play a tune that somehow relates to the guest as that guest’s “walk-on music.” Occasionally, they slay the guest with the musical choice (like when they played a Milli Vanilli song for the infamous lip-syncing Ashlee Simpson). Well, last night, the musical sword play continued as the band played Fishbone’s “Lyin’ Ass Bitch” as Bachmann’s walk-on music. Our buddy, (*sarcasm*) Questlove even tweeted about the musical selection before the show.

Florida police arrested a fake doctor for using a mix of “fix-a-flat” as booty injections! So, we’re doing ANYTHING for a phatty now, huh? Is that what’s hot in the streets? Miami police say Oneal Ron Morris –a self-proclaimed doctor of booty injectory– used a mix of cement, mineral oil and Super Glue to fatten a woman’s butt. Those chemicals nearly killed the woman, who went to three different hospitals before figuring out the cause of her ailments.

Brew Tube: UK Style “Misfits”

2

Posted by Elphaba Of The Brew | Posted in Brew Tube, brewtube | Posted on 16-11-2011

Let’s just get this out of the way “Misfits” may have the stupidest premise on TV since well… “Heroes”, but dammit if it isn’t the most compelling and gut-wrenchingly touching, awesome show that cannot be viewed in real time in the US. WTF?!

A quick synopsis: In the first episode we meet 5 (well 6, but…) young adults who have by the court been ruled  ASBO  and are on the first day of mandated probation.  They, along with their probation worker are caught in a freak storm and receive possibly the WORST superpowers known to superpowerdom.   As the episodes progress, it appears that these powers are a manisfestation of  their deep-rooted subconcious fears, anxieties and egos. And what’s worse than that?  I mean what would your superpower be if  THIS were how powers were given out? (Would I be Aversion to Bras on The Weekend Elphie?  Can only use the public restrooms at Nordstrom, Elphie?   How wack!)   Think about it!

They solve the resulting problems with a lot of blood letting,  body hiding, drugs and sex. As one naturally would!  Yet somehow they manage to be sympathetic and rootforable (that is not a word, E.)

The super talented cast is comprised of a group of young relatively unknowns, especially to the US, but you’ll be dying to see them all the time!

Check out the first 2 seasons or as the Brits say Series 1 and 2 of Misfits on Hulu

(SHHH Bootlegger’s Hint:  The currrent  season’s episodes can be found on the web… just Google “Misfits Series 3 Epsiodes)

Brew Tube: Erykah Badu – Up Close

To spend a few minutes inside the mind of Erykah Badu has to be a brilliant journey. In this interview/lecture with the Red Bull Music Academy in Madrid, Badu gives us two full hours inside her brain. She explains how some of her greatest hits were made and talks about her musical influences, the decline of the music industry, her start as a rapper and her friendship with (and attempted seduction of) the late music producer J Dilla. If you’re into music history, how songs are made and how producers find samples: you’ll love this.

Shots Fired! Mariah Carey & The Kardashian Wedding

Don’t say nothing bad about Miss Mimi’s Marriage! During her “Look at me, I’m skinny again” tour for Jenny Craig (she’s the new face of Jenny), Mariah Carey was asked by Gayle King about her Barbara Walters interview, in which she said she trusts her husband, Nick Cannon, “sometimes.” Mariah said her response to Barbara proves they have a real relationship… and, she wasted no time in taking a subliminal shot at that sham of a union between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.

Brew Tube: 50 Cent Sweeps Through NBC

50 Cent is one of the few names in hip hop who can move through the world of rap just as easily as he can Wall Street. Fiddy did a little sweep of NBC’s networks this morning, appearing on the The Today Show and CNBC’s Power Lunch to talk about his new projects. He’s still working on an album and he’s got the headphones he’s pitching, plus a book and a philanthropic project in Africa about which he really seems passionate.

Brew Tube: Beyonce’s “Party” [SNEAK PEEK]

Beyonce is dropping videos with the speed Osama used to drop mix tapes. She’s back with a peek of the video for “Party,” which used to feature a hot verse from the scrumptious Andre 3000. The video version will include The Roc’s new face, J Cole instead. I’m a little meh on that. Actually, I’m full of a wholelotta meh about that decision, but it’s still a cute song.

The video premieres Wednesday on BET’s “106 & Park” (please don’t make me Google to find out when that comes on).

You diggin’ the video?

Conquering Your Fears, Doggie-Style!

Posted by Fleur Delacour | Posted in Brew Tube, WTF? Files | Posted on 24-10-2011

I recently stumbled upon this clip from an episode of Animal Planet’s “My Extreme Animal Phobia” that gave me the willies! It centered around a 40-year-old Sons of Anarchy reject who has a phobia of pit bull puppies. I guess he had experienced some life-changing trauma as a tyke, so every time he sees one of those little terrors he freezes up and churns out Lil Wayne-approved tatted tears… making what I’m sure is the most disturbing sight on those mean streets of Whogivesafock, USA!
The highlight is when he gives the therapist the Heisman Hall of Hand “Hol-ups” when she tries to coax him to close the pooper puppy.

So this dude is not afraid of bad Mike Tyson face tats, but can’t stomach a 15lb house shytter? Guess I should have asked for seconds of compassionate during breakfast this morning. Just kidding, I do feel for the guy and at least he’s trying. What say you Brewchies?
