Chad Johnson won’t be going to the pokey for making illegal contact with Evelyn Lozada’s head. The artist formerly known as Ocho pled “no contest” to a charge of domestic battery. Johnson headbutted his former wife, Lozada, during an August 11th argument about a condom receipt she found in his car. Johnson won’t serve any jail time but he did get a year of probation and he’ll take part in an intervention program. He is also banned from contacting Evelyn, even on the Twitters.
In an interview with sportscaster James Brown, Chad said he’s lost everything. He’s now in anger management to work on himself.
Speaking of self-work, the Iyanla: Fix My Life episodes featuring Evelyn Lozada were a ratings smash for Oprah’s network, OWN.
Hmmmmmm…

Evelyn Lozada was about that polished up, public relations-approved life on Friday night’s Nightline. The usually tittied out, big earring’d up keeper of “The Circle” was prim and proper talking about the headbutting incident that ended her very short marriage to Chad Johnson. Taste The Brew to watch
Evelyn Lozada is speaking publicly about her domestic violence incident with estranged hubby Chad Johnson. In her first TV interview about the head butt, Lozada tells ABC’s Amy Robach that he’s “a good guy who made a bad choice” and that she wants the best for him. Taste The Brew for the clip
The mighty, ever watchful eye of TMZ spotted Evelyn Lozada for the first time since she was (allegedly) on the receiving end of Chad Johnson’s massive milk dud head. The soon-to-be ex Mrs. Ochocincojohnsonwhatever was spotted strolling the Florida beach near the neighbor’s house where she ran after the altercation with Chad. Word is Evelyn refuses to go anywhere without that dome covered by a hat, so the rumors of her needing stitches after that head butt must be true. Ev has since fled to Barbados with her daughter to escape the media’s spotlight. Must be nice.

I don’t know how I missed this nugget from last month, but while doing some research for an upcoming Brew project that we’ll be announcing soon (*cue the suspense*), I came across this lil bit of info:
Hey Everyone! I’m with Iyanla and can’t wait for you guys to see me on her show “Iyanla Fix My Life” on OWN – Oprah Winfrey Network in September. I will keep you guys informed of the actual air date. Right now, I’m in my ZEN moment with Iyanla. Check out the pics below.
xoxo,
Mrs. Johnson
So, fixing her life includes yoga and hopefully an anger management hotline. The show was taped earlier this summer, presumably in July after Evelyn became “Mrs. Johnson,” but well before the head butt felt around the world. There’s no word yet on an air date for Evelyn’s episode, but I know y’all will be watching so I’m not even going to ask. The series premiere of “Iyanla, Fix My Life” is September 15th at 10 pm (ET).
