Faith Evans must have wanted to drop her baggage before the rapture cometh. Big Faye filed for divorce from her husband/manager – husbandger?, Todd Russaw.

Filed in Los Angeles County on May 17, 2011, Evans notes that she and her husband actually separated in December 2005!

The couple married in 1997 and Evans cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for filing for divorce. They have two children together, Joshua, 13, and Ryder, 4, who was born after the couple officially separated. She asked for sole physical custody of the kids, but joint legal custody in the papers.

Evans asked for Russaw to get written permission to take the children out of California.

Evans began dating Russaw in early 1997 before the drive-by death of the Notorious B.I.G.

And you’d think they would have lasted… I mean, after getting popped for coke and weed possession and then doing rehab as a couple. Guess the couple that gets arrested together doesn’t stay together, huh? Watch out Tiny & Tip!

Faith needs “One More Chance” after being with you. Beside getting busted for riding dirty and adding to her potpourri of offspring. What is it that you do again? Oh, your a producer too? You know Kendu?

Random observation fellas: throwing “producer” after your name don’t make it right! Now I truly hope these marriages last, Lord knows we need some examples of good relationships, but I can’t help but think about Anita Baker. Her ex, the O.G. of stage husbands, is fighting for HALF of her royalties… all because she got caught up in the rapture! If the roles were revered the woman would be called a gold digger. #justsayin

Faith Evans is on the comeback trail these days. So, you know that means she’s in trouble with the law, right? That’s part of the comeback playbook. Duh!

Faith has been charged with two counts of DUI stemming from her August arrest in Los Angeles. If convicted, she faces a maximum of 6 months in jail.

BTW, her new album, “Something About Faith,” drops September 28th.

Add Toni Braxton and Faith Evans to the list of celeb types who owe the IRS some major coin. Braxton owes Uncle Sam a reported $396,000 to the government and her estranged hubby is also involved in the debt. The IRS filed a $396,330 lien against the couple last month. They owe taxes from 2007 and 2008. C’mon son… go to H&R Block and handle that!

Not to be outdone, Biggie’s former steak and egg fryer Faith Evans is also in trouble with the gubment. The IRS filed a $36,360 lien against her last month in New York. Another lien, worth $119,821, was filed in February in LA. New Jersey also filed a $204,000 lien against Evans in October 2008. Man. She got some issues going on. I might just have to watch her reality show.

Faith has taken a 5 year break from the biz so the show and the record are her attempt to break back on in.

No word yet on a release date for the show. But, will you watch?
