Lil Man Man’s quest to crash the VMA stage couldn’t even be thwarted by Beyonce’s biceps. Catch this YouTube clip of Bee trying to stop the little boy from crashing the Empire State of Mind.
Meantime, here’s what Jay-Z had to say about the stage-crashing.
Lil Man Man went on Tyra and of course Tyra hit her out the gate with “so what the hell were you thinking?”
Man Man says: ”I don’t think it was as serious as everyone is trying to make it out to be. I was sitting in the stands and I was very excited you know? I felt the connection, being from New York, Alicia Keys being from Harlem and Jay Z being from Brooklyn and I was just so emotional. I was really feeling it. I felt like I was being embraced at the time, Jay-Z was bouncing back like yeah! and I’m feeling like this whole moment is happening but I’m not planning it to be a moment, it just happened.”
Tyra: ” But didn’t he like tap tap your leg though, like get back?”
Lil Man Man: “But I didn’t feel it….I actually saw the tap tap later and I was embarrassed, I was like ‘Whoa, Jay-Z.’”
Thinking back on it, I kinda agree that it wasn’t that serious, I mean isn’t it just like when people get the holy ghost in church????
