It’s no secret the people at PETA want to punch Kim Kardashian in the hind parts (not that she’d feel it) for her overuse of fur. Kim was spotted, once again, wearing fur during Paris Fashion Week with her boo/stylist/impregnator Kanye West and that made the PETA people go o-f-f. PETA spokesperson Wendy Wenger had some choice words for Mrs. Humphries:
“Children of greedy, self-absorbed parents could follow their lead or they could break away and be alienated from and disgusted by them. Kim is a commodity; she is paid to wear things like fur, a particular makeup, or to shake hands with dictators, so she is not a good example to a child or anyone else of how to show a social conscience. Thankfully, this child will be growing up in a time when most people know how blatantly cruel it is to buy a coat made from someone else’s skin, so there is hope. Youngsters naturally identify and empathize with animals – so even though Kim and Kanye will undoubtedly serve as poor examples when it comes to kindness toward animals, perhaps their child will take after aunt Khloe and choose kindness by rejecting fur.“

NFL baller Bret Lockett dropped trou for PETA’s “Ink, Not Mink” campaign. The safety for the New York Jets is totally nekkid, save for a strategically placed football. Get into it…
And for news on Justin Bieber’s new penchant for the sticky icky, plus the tea on Halle Berry’s ex and an endorsement deal that Kim Kardashian isn’t “real enough” for, press play for today’s What’s Brewing report for iDV8 Radio.

Last month, Chad Ochocinco tweeted a pic of himself bucky nekkid with only a football covering his manhood. Turns out, that pic was part of a PETA campaign. Ochocino says he’s an “avid animal lover” who has pets of his own. He says “animals always want to pick you up, no matter what.”
Ochocinco is the latest celeb to take part in PETA’s “Ink, Not Mink” campaign which encourages people to cover themselves in tattoos instead of buying products made from fur. Mario and Gilbert Arenas have also posed.
Say, PETA, aren’t footballs made of leather? #justsayin

Recently PETA bloodied up some innocent mannequins to look at like dead bodies then lined them on the streets of New York to protest meat murders. I never really got into the whole animal debate thing. I’m not a fur chick and I gave up meat a while ago but I really don’t take sides. I do understand and respect someone’s passion for their cause but to me this is really DOING. THE. MOST.

Dear Miss Jackson If You’re Nasty:
PETA has a bone to pick with you…

Janet Jackson is the new face for the BlackGlama fur company as part of their new “What Becomes a Legend Most?” campaign. Now, PETA is taking a shot at Penny. Naturally, we saw this coming.
PETA spokeswoman Amanda Schinke says:
“It’s amazing what celebrities will do when their careers are on a downslide, but we didn’t think that Janet was this desperate. Surely she knows enough about suffering and unjustified death to recognize that both occur in the production of a fur coat. We are asking her to think again and to donate these stolen skins to be used as bedding for animals orphaned by other human-caused disasters, such as loss of habitat.”
